Is it just me or is social media getting real... boring? As much as I’m grateful for all the opportunities here, sometimes it gets overwhelming to think of this as a “part-time job” build on the validation of others. We start caring so much of the algorithm, likes, comments, followers etc and it can’t be healthy.

Ngl I’m guilty of feeling like this as well considering I’d sometimes think to myself “dont post this, the engagement will be super low anyway” even though I actually like the photo/video alot. 😪

Not sure where this is going but I’m just suddenly missing those days where social media isn’t all just about engagement/advertisements/jobs. Goal is to try sharing more genuine content on top of work, so here’s a travel photo from 2 weeks ago that I didn’t think would be worthy of posting at first, but it was a really fun day in a really pretty city. 🌤💖
